No Hard Feelings

Don’t have much to say about this one besides the obligatory “JLaw please crush my windpipe with a sledgehammer” but I liked this quite a bit. Surprisingly sweet (but not saccharine) throwback to the now-extinct sex comedy that handles the technical minefield of its premise with less crassness than one might expect and a great deal more tact- though, that tact never gets in the way of orchestrating a gag like having a guy’s dick stuck in a finger trap. Also a lot like Collateral, in the sense that this is a fairytale where an older, more experienced movie star sits with a dweeb in a work vehicle and teaches them how to get laid.

Loved the bit where (with unusually clear nighttime photography for a film of this kind) JLaw re-enacts the Eastern Promises bathhouse brawl on a group of drunk teenagers.
